COURSE F1/10 - 10 MILES (2007) Start Sheet text START (GR177620) on B1041, old Great North Road, Little Paxton, 200 yards south of milestone 57. being 50 yards south of "traffic both ways" sign and 96 yards north of blue dual carriageand way sign. Proceed south to join southbound carriageway of A1, (CARE) and continue south to:- TURN (4.58miles) around Black Cat RAB (junction with A421). Retrace outward route on northbound carriageway of A1 and continue under Little Paxton flyover bridging the A1 to join slip road to:- FINISH (GR185634) at "Clearway Ends" sign, some 300 yards beyond the flyover and on the curving slip road. Retrace A428 eastbound, pass Cambourne flyover and Hardwick flyover to:- FINISH (GR 377597) in layby, about ¾ mile past Hardwick F/O, at a point 22 yards east of (past) P sign. Proceed eastwards along A505, straight on at Billington RAB to RAB junction with A5 to:- TURN (5.2 miles) by taking 3rd. exit out of RAB and retrace westwards along A505, straight on at Billington RAB to:- FINISH on A505, 126 yards east of (i.e.,before) bridge over the A505, some 680 yards east of the start. Proceed south on A10 past exits for Harlow (A414) and Hoddesdon (A1170) to:- TURN (4.968 miles) by bearing left onto slip road (signposted Broxbourne, Wormley, Turnford A1170) to Turnford elevated RAB. Take 2nd. exit onto slip road to join A10 northbound. Continue north on A10 past exits for Hoddesdon (A1170) and Harlow (A414) to:- FINISH (GR 357126) on A10, at 1st. cats eye south of northern end of island in lay-by approx. ½ mile south of Rush Green elevated RAB. Proceed eastwards to Madlingley RAB where 1st exit onto A428 westbound pass Hardwick and Cambourne Flyover junctions to:- TURN (6.56 mls) at Caxton Gibbett RAB (junction with A1198) . Retrace A428 eastbound, about 1 mile past Hardwick flyover bear left onto A1303, signed Cambridge, pass over A428 to:- TURN (12.86 mls) at Madingley RAB. Retrace on A428 westbound to:- TURN (19.13 mls at Caxton Gibbett RAB (junction with A1198). Retrace A428 eastbound, about 1 mile past Hardwick flyover bear left onto A1303, signed Cambridge, to:- FINISH (GR 389597) on slip road 40yds before Bend sign. COURSE F10/25 - 25 Miles (2006) Start Sheet text START (GR357168) at north edge of first full height kerbstone at south edge of entrance to field gateway on east side of A1170 (old A10) just south of Sow & Pigs public house and turning for Cold Christmas. Proceed south on A1170 and at first RAB take 1st. exit to join slip road onto A10 northbound. Continue to Puckeridge South RAB (junction with A120) where:- TURN (4.5 miles) by taking 4th. exit and retrace on A10 southbound. Continue past exits for Ware (A1170), Ware (A620), Hertford (A414), Harlow (A414) and Hoddesdon (A1170) to leave A10 at slip road to Turnford elevated RAB and:- TURN (16.8 miles) by taking 3rd. exit to rejoin A10 northbound. Retrace past exits for Hoddesdon (A1170), Harlow (A414), Hertford (A414) and Ware (A620) to leave A10 (24.8 miles) at slip road to Ware and Thundridge. Take 1st. exit at RAB to:- FINISH (GR355162) on southbound A1170 directly opposite lamp post 476. NOTE : Do not stop at Finish but ontinue south on A1170 to return to HQ and/or to warm down. COURSE F13/25 - 25 MILES (2001) Start Sheet text START iin Launton Lane, off the A41, approximately 3 miles southeast of Bicester, at a point about 70 yards from the A41, some 30 yards south of 'Give Way 100 yards' sign, level with tree immediately before gated entrance. Proceed to junction with A41, where turn left and continue along A41, through Kingswood and Waddesdon, to:- TURN (11.96 miles) at 1st. RAB on the outskirts of Aylesbury. Retrace outward route through Waddesdon and Kingswood, past the end of Launton Lane, to turn left onto the B4011 (towards Thame) to:- FINISH on the B4011, about 750 yards from junction with A41, at a point level with 'Footpath' sign on left-hand side of road, some 20 yards beyond road on right-hand side leading to Ambrosden. Proceed westwards on A603 through Orwell to Wimpole RAB junction with A1198, straight on to continue on B1042 westward through Tadlow to near Wrestlingworth, continue westward on unclassified road through Eyeworth and Dunton to:- TURN at Dunton RAB and retrace outward route to:- FINISH on A603 at point marked on road edge east of milestone "Cambridge 5 miles" near start. F20/25 - 25 MILES (2008) Start Sheet text START on A10 at northern end of lay-by approximately half a mile south of Rush Green flyover RAB (junction of A10 and A414). Proceed south past exits for Harlow (A414) and Hoddesdon (A1170), to:- TURN (4.968 miles) at Turnford flyover RAB (sign-posted Broxbourne, Wormley, Turnford A1170). Retrace A428 eastwards, bear left at A1303 Cambridge road, pass over A428 to:- TURN (20.09 mls) at Madingley RAB. Retrace A428 eastwards to:- TURN (25.02 mls) at Cambourne flyover, turn right at 1st. RAB, pass over A428 and right at next RAB to re-enter onto A428 westbound. Retrace A428 eastwards, bear left at A1303 Cambridge road, pass over A428 to:- FINISH by turning left at Madingley RAB to Finish at clearway end sign on road leading to Madingley village. Take 3rd exit off RAB onto A507 to:- TURN (12.77 miles) at 1st RAB Norton/Stotfold, retrace along A507 to A1 to:- TURN LEFT up slip road to rejoin A1 northbound carriageway. Retrace outward route over all junctions to Tempsford where:- TURN (25.26 miles) by turning left off the A1 and within 80yards turn right ( CARE), right at small RAB, over the A1, right at next small RAB to rejoin the A1 (care) southbound and continue over Sandy, North Biggleswade (Warden Lane) and South Biggleswade RABs to:- TURN RIGHT (36.98 miles) by bearing left onto slip road at commencement of A1(M) approx. 2 miles north of Baldock. Take 3rd exit off RAB onto A507 to:- TURN (37.79 miles) at 1st RAB Norton/Stotfold, retrace along A507 to A1 to:- TURN LEFT up slip road to rejoin A1 northbound carriageway. Retrace outward route over all junctions to:- FINISH (GR162522) by bearing left off the A1 at Blunham Lane to finish at Clearway sign. Continue to Puckeridge South RAB (junction with A120) where:- TURN (4.52 miles) by taking 4th. exit and retrace on A10 southbound. Continue past exits for Ware (A1170), Ware (A602), Hertford (A414) and Hoddesdon (A1170) to leave A10 at slip road to Turnford elevated RAB and:- TURN (16.94 miles) by taking 3rd. exit to rejoin A10 northbound. Retrace past exits for Hoddesdon (A1170), Harlow (A414), Hertford (A414), Ware (A602), Ware (A1170) and continue to Puckeridge South RAB where:- TURN (29.36 miles) by taking 4th. exit and retrace on A10 southbound.
