This competition for Men and Women was devised and introduced by Doug Eagger, long-serving Secretary of the D.C. The D.C. has since added Veterans and Juniors to the awards. It is a points-based system for riding a minimum number of sporting course time trials promoted in the District each year. Fastest riders in each event receive 120 points, the second fastest 119 and so on. In 2004 the D.C. purchased 4 new Cups, one for each category, from funds generated by the D.C. Levy. The Trophy Cups are held by the winners for 12 months and they also receive engraved RTTC Medallions. The top 10 Men and Veterans along with all Women and Junior finishers receive CTT District Award Certificates. Apr. 2pm Milton Keynes CC Sporting 21mls - F5/20 Sat 24th. May. 3pm North Rd CC 25 mls (M/E/V) & 12 mls (W/J) - F14/12(x2) Sat 19th. Jul. 1pm Norlond TT Combine Sporting 25 mls - F14/12(x2) Sat 23rd.
